How can I keep deer out of my vegetable garden this year?

vegetable gardens
Yowza! asked:

I had a gorgeous garden last year, and the deer ended up eating every single tomato, and most of the other vegetables. What they didn’t eat, they trampled on. I want to make sure it doesn’t happen again this year.
I can’t afford a fence, and my garden isn’t that big, and my yard itself is huge…

You must have a fence, no way around it.

you can get deer and animal repellent products at places like Home Depot. I think it is mostly ground pepper, so try spearing a lot of pepper all around and in your garden.

They sell some “liquid fence” stuff you can spray around your garden.

It seems to work pretty well for deer control.
