Very true. I started gardening on a larger scale last summer & ended up doing very little shopping.. plus, we ate better, with SAFE fresh fruits & veggies all summer, plus some stored. We stored enough of some foods that we haven’t yet had to go buy any. This year, I’m growing enough spices that I probably won’t have to buy any at all, incl. red peppers, tabasco sauces, etc. It’s really fun to see just how much you can save. This year, I’m going to keep tally what I would’ve paid at the store.
