What would be your suggestions to plant in a “kitchen” vegetable garden?

We have a large garden away from the house but I want to plant a few things close. What would you suggest? Do you have kitchen vegetable garden? What do you plant in your “close to the house” garden?

   First, herbs like basil, thyme, parsely, sage, oregano, etc, whatever you like; then definitely tomato plants, peppers, lettuce, zucchini!

   herbs, lettuce, a tomatoe pant like super sweet chery 100 hybrid,dill, stuff i want to smell and use often

   Any herbs you like to cook with. Most are very easy to grow.
